Coco’s — Brand Refresh
A refined visual refresh that captured the charm of a Parisian café while unifying its brand presence.
Overview: Coco’s is a cozy, Parisian-inspired café in Amman known for its warm atmosphere and artisanal menu. I was brought in to refresh the logo and create a cohesive brand identity that reflected its charm and personality. The goal was to enhance the existing design without compromising the familiar feel that regulars love.
My role: Lead Designer — logo refinement, visual identity, brand applications, moodboard development.
Challenge: Coco’s had an existing logo and brand visuals, but they felt inconsistent across menus, signage, and packaging. The challenge was to create a refreshed, unified identity that preserved the café’s essence while feeling modern, timeless, and instantly recognizable.
Approach: Conducted an in-depth site visit to capture the space’s mood, textures, and details, then developed mood boards inspired by Parisian cafés, balancing elegance with approachability. From there, I created three distinct concept directions, ultimately finalizing a refined logo lockup paired with a line drawing–style illustration of the café, and rolled out the brand across menus, takeaway items, and social media templates.
Deliverables: Logo refresh, line drawing illustration, brand style guide, menu layouts, packaging concepts, social media templates.
Outcome: The refreshed identity unified Coco’s brand presence and resonated strongly with customers. The new visuals enhanced recognition across physical and digital touchpoints, and the café adopted the look across all branded materials.
