NAMATT — Branding, Digital Identity & Full E-Commerce System
A modern and versatile brand identity designed to position Namatt as the ultimate online destination for home décor, accessories, and lifestyle products.
Overview: NAMATT is an e-commerce platform that redefines convenience in home and lifestyle shopping. Its name, meaning “your distinct style and pattern”, embodies the brand’s mission to help people design living spaces and lifestyles that reflect their individuality. Namatt offers a curated marketplace for home décor, accessories, interior and exterior design details, and renovation services — all in one accessible digital space. Beyond simplifying the shopping experience, Namatt empowers vendors by providing them with a platform to showcase their products to a wider audience. I was commissioned to build the entire brand identity system from the ground up (excluding the logo), ensuring a seamless, user-focused narrative across digital, print, and environmental applications.
My role: Lead Designer — brand strategy, creative direction, visual identity system (excluding logo), iconography, digital branding assets, e-commerce UX branding elements, packaging concepts, social media templates, stationery, marketing collateral, and full brand guideline book.
Challenge: The challenge was to create a brand identity that reflected Namatt’s dual promise: convenience for customers and visibility for vendors. The brand needed to feel trustworthy and modern while also reflecting the diversity of products and services available on the platform. Unlike single-category brands, Namatt required a flexible identity system that could expand across various product types — from décor and furniture to services — without losing consistency. The identity also had to function seamlessly across digital and physical applications, with an emphasis on clarity and ease of use.
Approach: The design process began with research into lifestyle-driven e-commerce platforms and consumer behavior in home décor markets. Moodboards combined clean, approachable typography with versatile iconography and a modern color palette that balanced warmth with professionalism. Three creative directions were presented, with the chosen one refined into a complete brand ecosystem. Since the logo was created by another designer, my focus was on building out the visual language and applying it across all touchpoints. Iconography was developed to simplify navigation on digital platforms, while packaging concepts, print collateral, and digital templates ensured coherence across the entire customer journey. The result was consolidated into a comprehensive brand guideline book, providing Namatt with a scalable, long-term framework.
Deliverables: Brand style guide, iconography, packaging concepts, social media templates, digital and printable materials, stationery, marketing collateral, e-commerce UX branding elements, and full brand guideline book.
Outcome: The final identity positioned NAMATT as a modern, reliable, and stylish e-commerce destination. Customers experienced a seamless, visually cohesive platform that felt both practical and aspirational, while vendors benefited from a clear, professional environment to display their products. The cohesive brand system reinforced trust and recognition across all channels, setting Namatt apart in the competitive digital marketplace. The detailed brand guideline book ensured consistency and provided the client with a roadmap for scaling the platform and communications as the business grows.
