Kids Hands On — Full Brand Identity
A vibrant and playful brand identity crafted to engage both children and their caregivers through sensory-rich visuals and storytelling.
Overview: Kids Hands On is a platform targeting caregivers of young children, offering ideas, techniques, and products for experimental play that encourages exploration of textures and materials. The brand promotes quality screen-free time through sensory-rich activities that nurture curiosity and connection. I was tasked with creating the entire branding from the ground up to visually reflect this mission.
My role: Lead Designer — complete branding development, including mood boards, logo options, color palettes, and brand storytelling.
Challenge: The client needed a brand identity that was colorful and attractive, appealing to both kids and their parents. The identity had to tell a story that would engage children’s senses while remaining approachable and trustworthy for caregivers.
Approach: Developed a comprehensive moodboard showcasing styles, color schemes, and visual directions inspired by playfulness and sensory exploration. Created three distinct branding options for client review, focusing on colorfulness and narrative impact. The final design harmonizes playful imagery with storytelling elements that activate multiple senses, aligning perfectly with the brand’s goals.
Deliverables: Full brand identity, logo variations, mood boards, color palettes, brand guidelines, and applications across digital platforms.
Outcome: The new brand identity effectively communicates Kids Hands On’s mission, resonating with both children and caregivers. It has strengthened the platform’s presence and engagement across social and digital touchpoints.
