
Ishraq Eye Center — Branding & Visual Identity
A complete brand identity built to reflect clarity, trust, and sophistication for a forward-thinking eye care center.
Overview: Ishraq Eye Center is a modern ophthalmology clinic dedicated to providing advanced eye care in a welcoming, patient-focused environment. With a vision to stand out in the competitive medical services market, the founders sought a distinctive brand identity that would communicate professionalism, innovation, and warmth. I was brought on, alongside another designer, to create the brand from the ground up — from logo design and visual language to full-scale brand applications.
My role: One of the Lead Designers — creative direction, logo design, brand strategy, visual identity system, collateral design, and production-ready artwork. Collaborated closely with another designer for concept development and refinement.
Challenge: The clinic needed a brand that balanced medical authority with a sense of approachability. The challenge was to design an identity that could appeal to both local and international patients, work seamlessly across digital and physical touchpoints, and stand the test of time in a field where trust and credibility are paramount.
Approach: We began by researching regional and international eye care branding trends to identify opportunities for differentiation. Our focus was on symbolism that conveyed vision, light, and clarity without falling into clichés. The logo took inspiration from the Arabic meaning of Ishraq (“sunrise” or “illumination”), incorporating a color palette inspired by light and natural gradients. The identity system extended across stationery, signage, digital platforms, and marketing materials, ensuring a cohesive experience for patients from their first interaction to in-clinic visits.
Deliverables: Logo and full brand guidelines, stationery suite, signage designs, digital templates for social media, marketing collateral, and environmental branding for the clinic’s interior and exterior.
Outcome: The launch of Ishraq Eye Center’s new identity positioned it as a premium provider in its market, with positive feedback from patients and staff alike. The brand’s visual system improved recognition and trust, while the adaptable design elements allowed for smooth integration across all communication channels.
